I want to learn Sanskrit and want to read our Grandhas. Is it possible to learn at my age (42).

I heard you have series of teaching books developed for beginners. Where these will be available and where to get these.

I have been trying to learn for the last two years and have been making some progress..

I started with a distance learning class and found this very hard as just reading the books did not provide the opportunity to discuss. Then I found some newer books:

http://www.amazon.com/Sanskrit-Appreciation-Apprehension-Bharat-Sha...

Both of these were great and did help.. However, they were not enough either.

Then, I found: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/onlinesanskritclass/

This is excellent - I am onto Lesson 12 and this has really helped..
